A Vintage Idea

The history of luggage is closely adjacent to the history of modes of transportation for travel.  Your pedigree determined your style of luggage as well as the comfort of travel.  Luggage had to last and therefore it had to be sturdy to survive long stretches of travel.  The most expensive of luggage were cases and trunks.  Adorned with travel stickers to show off their various past destinations, trucks were loaded and unloaded time and time again.

Women often had carry-on sized luggage, miniature trucks called cases.

Once trains became the preferred and main transportation mode for most travelers, those cases were called “train sets/cases” for 2 or more pieces or simply “train case” for one piece.

These pieces were often mail ordered or sold door to door.  More modern versions were included in the ever popular Samsonite luggage sets.

Today, you can purchase updated versions with any pattern imaginable.

Accessorizing Your Hair Cut

Shemireyah Young with multi-tonal highlights and a jamboree of layers thanks to the Jet Li of Hair, Kei Benet

Shemireyah has a tendency to change her hair cut (and sometimes color) with the season or on a whim.  Thanks to her hair guru Kei Benet, she need only take in a picture of the desired style and it is manifested with skill and precision.  Using amateur photos, we’re going to show you how to accessorize different hair lengths.
LONG HAIR, DON’T CARE

Don’t allow your hair to hide your earrings.  You don’t have to change your hair style but you do have pick an ear piece that can flow with your hair and be seen.  Try one of these trendy 7inch or longer pieces:

When allowing your ears to take center stage with long hair, you can afford to use a smaller more simple earring, especially when dressed casually.

MEDIUM WELL BOBS
Medium length hair is the great middle ground.  And the in-between queen of medium length styles is the bob.  Ears can easily be covered with this type of hair also.  A chandelier or nice sized hoop earring is great!

NATURALLY MY DEAR
It’s great to have that wash and go hair.  With a natural curl look, a lot of focus is given to the head.  Select great earrings like the following to set it off:

SHORT END OF IT

Short hair cuts are an earrings time to shine.  From small hoops...

...to long or big feathers, they will be showcased!

WINNER WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER
Here are a few more accessorized looks where Shemireyah definitely got it right!!
